That's a good product, considering its price, but flare problems are very frequently. Comparing to the Voigtlander 50mm f1.5 II you may consider that for twice the price you can have a perfect lens. Your choice!
I am using this lens with a "Leica M-Adapter L" and mount it on a Sigma FP-L mirrorless camera.
The pictures taken was absolutely gorgeous, even under low lighting conditions.
I would highly recommend this lens to anybody.
Very close to the Leica version

I have paired this with a fuji GFX 50sii and a sigma fp L and a leica SL and it just performs to perfection. This is a gem of a lens with very little i can complain about.
I have to admit I was a little skeptical. Could the TTartisan 50mm f/1.4 turn out great images? Granted I am not a professional photographer, but pretty active over 50 years. I am a true believer in excellent glass along with a good photographer can make outstanding images. I cannot say enough good things about the TTArtisan M 50mm f/1.4 in the several rolls I shot since it arrived two weeks ago. I shoot black & white film at 400 to 800 asa with a Leica M3. The tonal quality is outstanding edge to edge. Sharpness is great even at 1.4 which if there are problems it is more attributable to my failing eye sight than the lens. Move to 2.0 or 2.8 and up... very crisp.
Physically the lens is very smooth, responsive. I love the aperture clicks. Focusing has just the right amount of tension and throw.
Overall, I am very, very impressed with this fine lens. I am now going to purchase a 35mm.
